Here we go again, interesting baby facts coming our way! Who knew that something so preciously small can pack a ton of wisdom? Here's another list of bizarre and interesting baby facts for you to know!
24/7 pee break
Did you know that a newborn urinates about every 20 minutes and then roughly every hour? That is 30 times more frequent than a regular adult and this pee cycle lasts for over 6 months. It is because babies have small bladders.
Don't press the button!
An infant is born with two major soft spots on the top of the head called fontanels. These bones are strategically underdeveloped so the head can smoothly glide out during labor, this usually closes by age 2 to 3 months and the protein that keeps these bones from fusing is called “noggin.”
Where art thou?
Aside from their difficulty distinguishing color tones newborns can see best at a distance of only 8-14 inches and they see best in their peripheral vision so it is physically impossible to actually perceive their and recognize their parents but the good thing is, babies have an excellent sense of smell so they can easily recognize their parent's presence through it.
